Pay it forward.

Have you done any random acts of kindness today?

People of the 21st century are now evolving into selfish species.

You don't see many actually being kind to others or strangers these days, or perhaps, i don't.

If it's between friends, of course, everyone is kind, right?

But if it's to a complete stranger, would we be as kind?

Fact is, most of us actually expects a pay back from that kindness.

So, technically, that's not called kindness at all.

My thoughts today were prompted by a movie i watched years ago.

Pay It Forward.

It's a movie about how a young boy conjures the notion of paying a favor, not back, but forward by repaying good deeds not with payback, but with new good deeds done to three new people.

He brings a revolution not only in the lives of himself but also in those of an ever widening circle of people completely unknown to him.

I admire this character. His vision is truly remarkable.

If this were to be implemented in our own lives . .

Just imagine how many people we would help just by these random acts of kindness.

I see people ignoring random acts of kindness . .

I see people being kind while expecting something in retun . .

I see people throwing away chances of doing random acts of kindness . .

I see people saying no to those asking for help . .

I see people only caring about their own friends, giving a rat's ass about others . .

I see people being so darn selfish!

What kind of people are we??

I have nothing else to say about this.

Why can't we be like him?

Why can't we . . Pay It Forward?

Well, i know for sure, i will learn to be like him, even if it's extremely weird to help strangers.

I will help three others, in hopes that they will help three others.
